“The plan's approved and I don't know what to do with it.”
Your NDIS plan is full of words that don't match your actual week. I'll read it with you, in plain English, and turn it into supports you'll really use.
Gold Coast & surrounds
I'm [Name], a social worker and support coordinator on the Gold Coast. I help NDIS participants, families caring for an ageing parent, and kinship carers work out what help is out there, and then actually get it in place.
No waiting lists to join. No forms to fill in first. Just a call.
Usually replies same day
Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm
Most people find me at the point where it's all got a bit much. That's a fine place to start.
Your NDIS plan is full of words that don't match your actual week. I'll read it with you, in plain English, and turn it into supports you'll really use.
You're working, parenting, and now on hold to My Aged Care in your lunch break. I'll take the calls and the paperwork off you.
There's money, respite and counselling available to kinship carers. Most people are never told about it. I'll show you what you can ask for.
Pick one, or start with a call and we'll work out which you need.
01
I connect your NDIS plan to real services, check they're any good, and step in when they're not.
02
A regular time to talk things through with someone who understands both caring and the system behind it.
03
Personal care, meals, getting to appointments. Arranged with people I'd happily send to my own family.
04
I make the calls, write the letters, and sit beside you in meetings with NDIS, My Aged Care or Child Safety.
I spent years working inside the system, first in child safety and then in aged care. I kept meeting families who were doing everything right and still getting nowhere. The help was usually sitting there. Nobody had time to sit down and explain it to them. So that's what I do now.
I work with a small number of people at a time, on purpose. You'll always speak to me, not a call centre.
Three steps, and you can stop after any of them.
Free. You tell me what's going on. I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right person to help.
At your place or over video. We work out what you need, what's funded, and what it costs.
I set it up, check it's actually working, and stay in touch. You always know who to ring.
“She rang the providers I'd been putting off for months. Two weeks later Dad had someone coming three mornings a week.”
“My grandson arrived on a Tuesday with a bag of clothes. She handled the paperwork so I could just look after him.”
If yours isn't here, just ring and ask.
The first 15-minute call is free. After that, support coordination is billed at NDIS price guide rates. Private work is [$000] an hour and I'll quote you before we start, so you won't get a surprise invoice.
Often, yes. NDIS plans that are plan-managed or self-managed can pay for support coordination. Home Care Packages can cover some help at home. Kinship carers may have costs covered through Child Safety. I'll check for you on the first call.
The whole Gold Coast, from Coomera down to Coolangatta and west to Nerang and Mudgeeraba. I also take clients in the Tweed and Northern Rivers. Anywhere further out, we can do it over video.
The first call usually happens within a day or two. First proper appointment is normally within a week. If I'm full, I'll say so straight away and point you somewhere good rather than park you on a list.
Yes. What you tell me stays with me, and I don't share anything with a provider or family member without your say-so. The only exceptions are the legal ones: if someone is at serious risk of harm, or a court asks for records. I'll always tell you if that happens.
Ring me if that's easier. I'd rather talk than read a form. If you'd sooner write it down, the form works too.
